Someone to talk to....

Losing someone we love is perhaps the most profound and the most disturbing of all life's experiences....

It usually helps to talk, unfortunately not everyone has somebody whom they feel they can talk to easily and in confidence about how they feel deep down. Cruse can provide special, carefully selected and trained visitors who will come and see you in your own home or somewhere else convenient. You can also meet privately in our own office.

If you live in the West Suffolk area you can contact us by telephoning:

01284  76 76 74

There is usually somebody to answer between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Tuesdays and between 7.00pm and 9.00pm on Thursdays. At other times there is an answerphone which is monitored regularly and we do try to respond within 24 hours.

We also have three local support groups; in Bury St Edmunds and Needham Market they meet on the first and third Thursday in each month and in Sudbury they meet on the first and third Monday in each month. All the groups meet between 10.30am and 12.00 noon, for more details call the number above.

Our address for correspondence is:

The Risbygate Centre, 90 Risbygate Street, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 3AA
or email us at westsuffolk@cruse.org.uk

but please remember...

we are not an emergency organisation, if you really do need to talk to somebody urgently then please call The Samaritans or call in at their local office

Cruse is a registered charity and relies for its income on donations. Should you feel able to contribute to our work financially please send your donation to the honorary treasurer at the address above. Thank You.
